Lamb Rogan Josh....


Went meat shopping.
Bought a huge leg of mutant dinosaur/sheep leg.
Half keema and half chop chop.
Lovely lean meat so I decided to cook a traditional lamb rogan josh.
Jeera, dhaniya, garam masalla and fennel powders all go well with lamb.
Not restaurant style but a tangy slightly sour dish.
But didn't get any yoghurt or tomatoes which give a sour taste so used plum tomatoes from a tin.
It was nice. Really nice.
Made some nice potatoes to compliment and used my secret Kashmiri masalla paste to give a hot kick. Also I microwaved the potatoes first so they lovely and soft. They also cooked quicker.

Just finished watching "Big Trouble in Little China."


Funny it was and funny it still is........

Eyes are closing.......
