MOT & Kebabs.....


Well back to work monday night.....

Waiter A was happy. He always is when working with me. Don't know why. I think he may have won some dollars over the weekend......he didn't ask for a sub either.
Waiter S new found morals didn't last long........
Oh I forgot about Waiter N. Sorry 'bout this but I didn't really classify him as a waiter 'cos he can't serve or pick up plates yet. But he can set up a table. Which is nice.

New menu coming on nicely. Had a look at the new restaurants' menu. Nothing to be worried about. We need to up our game and maintain our standards. It's going to be a tad quiet, as always during October. Still can't figure out why everyone wants to open a curry house here.
Tried a new dish the chef made. He is quite creative when he wants to be. Butter Tikka Poori. Tikka chicken cooked in a rich creamy sauce served on a poori bread complimented by side salad. Forgot to take a picture. Ooops.

My fave dish name is Sabji Badami Masalla.
But my fave yum dish would be Balti Kebab Kofta Masalla.....chopped shish kebab cooked in a spicy tanddori masalla sauce. Although Shish Kebab Paneer Chilli Masalla sounds just as nice as does King Prawn Spice & Chicken Tikka Red.
Will post pictures when I eat 'em all.

Popadum taster and our homemade chips crushed slightly & well fried to extra crisp the edges then salted and dressed with lemon juice, chilli powder and something else really really nice...

Took the car into town to get MOT done. Was a bit worried as I know it needs work. Miraclously it passed although it does need new tyres, discs & pads. Let alone a service......
Whilst the car was being examined I felt a red matter pull to my old kebab house I used to visit when doing restaurant shopping years back.
They do THE best chilli sauce/kebab combination in the world ever.
Their shish kebabs haven't changed in years.
Bit like us really......
